Why Hoavik
Most HOA software is sold to management companies through a demo. Hoavik is built so a volunteer board can look first, bring the file it has, and trust the totals.

Five things we built around
Each one links to where you can check it.
-
Look before you talk to anyone.
The sample association is open. No demo gate, no sales call, no card.
-
Bring the file you already have.
A spreadsheet, an export, or a pile of PDFs. The software proposes where each row goes. A person approves it.
-
The balances tie before residents pay.
Opening balances have to match the total the board expects. Residents are invited only after that.
-
A person approves anything a resident receives.
Notices, invites, and reminders wait for a person. Nothing goes out on its own.
-
The vendor file is one record.
Quote, agreement, invoice, and the work. The treasurer and the resident see the same facts, with different permissions.
How the others ask you to start
The first action on each public homepage. Not a ranking.
| Software | First action on the public homepage | Price on the page |
|---|---|---|
| PayHOA | Self-serve start | Published (unit bands) |
| Vlge | Free trial, no card | Published ($39 / $64 to 50 units) |

| Vantaca | Request a demo | Not published |
| Hoavik | Open the sample association | Published ($49/mo · $39 yearly to 50) |

PayHOA and Hoavik
PayHOA publishes a price and self-serve signup. Hoavik publishes a price too — $49 a month / $39 yearly to 50 doors — and opens the sample before checkout.
-
Vantaca and Hoavik
Vantaca is built for management companies and sold through a demo. A volunteer board is not the first buyer on their page.
-
CINC and Hoavik
CINC is accounting and banking for management companies. Boards and residents are the second surface on their site.
-
TownSq and Hoavik
TownSq has a resident app people know and puts pricing in the menu. Its business product is for management companies.
-
Vlge and Hoavik
Vlge is the closest shape to us: self-serve, a published price, a 30-day trial with no card. The difference that matters is what the entry price leaves out.
The leaders move you in with people. We move you in with software, and a person still approves.
What we will not do
The lines stay the same at every price.
-
We do not manage your association.
The board still decides. The software keeps the record and shows the next step.
-
We do not keep the books as a service.
The treasurer does the work. The file you hand a CPA comes from the same books.
-
We do not give legal or accounting advice.
Guides say how the software holds the work. They do not say what the law requires.
-
We do not answer residents with a robot.
Assist can draft. A person reads it and sends it, or does not.
Who it is for
Same dues and documents. Different permissions.
Volunteer board
You likely have another job. The dues, the meeting, the residents, the vendors, and the file you hand a CPA stay in one place.
